The ESYA was founded by Frank Nicoletti and the late Walter Knowles. For almost 40 years, Frank Nicoletti has given unselfishly of himself to help over 30,000 boys and girls of the East Stroudsburg community, by giving them an opportunity to compete and succeed through athletic competition.

The ESYA is an organization that is successfully helping develop and prepare the children of the East Stroudsburg community for the East Stroudsburg High School Varsity and JV sport programs.

ESYA ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

ESYA Annual Golf Tournament will be held on May 11, 2013 at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.

ESYA is forming the 2013 Golf Tournament Committee at this time. If you are interested in helping obtain hole & tee sponsors, raffle gifts or if you have time to donate the day of tournament … Please contact Randy Litts!

40TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER DANCE

It all started with two men (Frank Nicoletti & the late Walter Knowles), who had a vision for the youth of the East Stroudsburg community. An now 40 years later, ESYA is still making an impact on the youth of East Stoudsburg. To date, over 30,000 boys and girls have gone through the ESYA sports programs.

Please come out and honor the past 40 years & more to come, with a Dinner & Dance Celebration! Open to the community, alumni & current parents of ESYA sports programs!

Please check back often, for other exciting events that are being scheduled to celebrate ESYA’s 40 years serving the East Stroudsburg community!

PERRYMAN KEGLOVITS FOUNDATION ALL STAR GAME FOR CANCER

Perryman Keglovits Foundation All Star Game for Cancer … Is being held on Monday, March 25th at ESU Koehler Field House. This years Cancer Focus for 2013 is “Childhood Cancer”. During halftime of the games, the ESYA basketball boys & girls All Star teams will take to the court for a scrimmage showcase. ESYA thanks these young players for showing their support for the Perryman Keglovits Foundation!

Pocono Quarter Auction to benefit ESYA

Please come out on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 5:30pm at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, 100 Shawnee Drive, PO Box 67, Shawnee On Delaware, Pennsylvania 18356. It’s a cross between an auction, a raffle, a charity fundraiser, and a home party!

Local direct sales vendors will be auctioning off new items for only 1-6 quarters per bid! You can win items retailing up to $100 for very little! It’s a fun night so be prepared to get addicted; you’ll want to come every month.

For more details, please click on the “Pocono Quarter Auction” tab on the calendar page, on the ESYA website! This is a grown ups only event and nobody under 18 will be admitted.

ESYA 2nd ANNUAL BENEFIT CAR SHOW EVENT

ESYA and The Monroe County Cruisers Car Club is holding the 2nd Annual Benefit Car Show on July 28, 2012 at the Frank Nicoletti Fields at Minisink Park!

Volunteer Meeting tonight (July 25th) at 6:00pm at the Frank Nicoletti Fields at Minisink Park. (Rain or Shine) We are going to need some people to do different jobs the day of the car show. We need car parking ,concession, tricky tray ticket sales, vendor set-up, and other odd jobs. We are reaching out to all ESYA parents and coaches to give us a hand this Saturday. We are still in need of folding tables, if anyone has some please let ESYA know as we need 5 more.

The Car Show fundraising event benefits ALL the ESYA sports programs … remember if everyone does a little, no one does a lot.

This years guest colon cancer speaker was Joanna Walker. During halftime of the Senior Boys game, the ESYA basketball team took to the court for a scrimmage showcase. Congratulations to the ESYA Wrestlers! Best VEWL showing ever! From 23rd place last year to 4th place this year! A total of seven medal winners! The ESYA Wrestling team record is 8-2 and the team finished 4th out of 32 in the end of the season tournament!

The hard work and dedication has truly been shown this season in all the ESYA wrestlers, parents and coaches! Great job boys … ESYA is extremely proud of all of you!
